Male volunteers needed for pioneering memory research (10 payment) - Milton Keynes

1112 GBP

We are looking to recruit men, aged 18 years and over who have not experienced any form of brain injury or stroke to take part in our pioneering memory research, coming to Milton Keynes 11-12th January 2018.
The study is a test of memory, which takes roughly 60 minutes to complete and involves activities such as memorising words and pictures. Participants are paid £10 for their time. We are conducting this research at the Thomas Edward Mitton House (MK4 2JA).
We are conducting this research to assist in our review of the BMIPB (the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust Memory and Information Processing Battery), a test of memory currently used throughout the UK (particularly within the NHS) to assist in diagnosing brain injuries, along with conditions such as Alzheimers and dementia. For more information about the BMIPB please visit our website at: www.birt.co.uk/memory.
If you are worried that "my memory isn't very good" or "the test may reveal something bad" please do not worry. This is not a pass or fail test, rather your data will provide invaluable information about how memory works. This will also allow us to better understand how memory could be affected by conditions such as Alzheimers and dementia in the future.
If you are interested in taking part, you can submit your interest using our online form at www.birt.co.uk/memory. You can also email your interest to click to contact or call us on 01444 237294 01444 2372...(click to reveal full phone) .
